Four-leaf clover

Four-leaf clover [fawr-leef kloh-ver] is an uncommon variation of the common, three leaved clover.  According to tradition, such leaves bring good luck to their finders, especially if found accidentally.  According to legend, each leaf represents something: the first is for faith, the second is for hope, the third is for love, and the fourth is for luck.

In Greatest Love, the National Treasure Girls (Kukbo So nyeo) were wracked with nerves backstage before their first performance.  Mina had taken out the four-leaf clover she had picked outside promising it would bring them luck which calmed the group down.

Ten years later after their debut, Ae-jung, Seri and Jenny all received a package with a four-leaf clover drawn on the envelope containing their KBSN CD and a pressed four-leaf clover.

It is assumed that Mina had sent them all this gift.

Receiving a tip from Jenny, Pil-joo brings Ae-jung her favorite kind of bread which is a clover-shaped bread filled with red-bean that’s found at a bakery near Ae-jung dormitory during her KBSN days.  Splitting the bread in half, she shares it with Pil-joo saying that good luck needs to be shared.

In the last episode, Jenny, Seri and Mina come together to serve as bridesmaids for Ae Jung.  Mina takes out the clover bread to share with the girls and wishes that each of them has good luck in the future.
