알짱거리지말고 저리 비켜 – Don’t linger around me, move it.

This was one of the first introductions Gu Ae Jung had with Dokko jin (or as she liked to call him 똥꼬진 “Butthole-Jin”).  Seeing a superstar van at a gas station, a curious Gu Ae Jung decided to check it out when a bystander partially recognize her, she can’t help but pose next to it like a star.  From inside, DKJ pokes her with a poster through a window opening, he tells her to stop lingering around his van and move it, furthering the insults by making her take out the trash and treating her like a servant.  It was this line and his signature on his hand that clued her into the identity of the mysterious, rude celebrity.

He repeats this line around Gu Ae Jung as he is first confused by his feelings for her (See: Rose Petal in Handkerchief).  But as he begins to understand that he is falling for her, he starts to use the word 매달려 or cling to show that he does not want to let her go.  When Dokko Jin proposes to Gu Ae Jung, he warns her to never leave his side.  She says, “You watch me.  I’ll never let go now.”  She follows through when he is depressed by something and decides to cling in order to show that she will always be by his side now.

  1. Since you are including phrases/statements,do please add “Give me back my PANTY!” I thinks it’s one of the most hilarious scenes in the drama.

    • thanks so much for the suggestion… we included panty in the objects of affection…

but that line really cracked me up… so we will definitely include that once we are update our collection…. (:
