Dolphin Puzzle

Dolphin Puzzle
jigsaw puzzle – a puzzle that requires you to reassemble a picture that has been mounted on a stiff base and cut into interlocking pieces
As a result of the3 red roses (See: 3 Red Roses) twist in the third season of Couple Making, the producers reformatted the show by having Gu Ae Jung and Yoon Pil Joo go on dates.  After realizing her feelings for Dokko Jin and subsequently being rejected by him, Gu Ae Jung tried to commit to Yoon Pil Joo and the show.  Taking the date to Yoon Pil Joo’s house, the two made a meal together and started to construct a dolphin puzzle.  Yoon Pil Joo had previously asked Gu Ae Jung to forget Dokko Jin and come to him.  While her mind was determined, her heart wasn’t obeying.  She asks Pil Joo to help her by making sure that she doesn’t go running back to Dokko Jin.  Ever the chivalrous knight, Pil Joo obliges.  As they work on the puzzle, Ae Jung has difficulty making the pieces fit.  He sees her struggling and helps her find the right spot saying, “I’ll help you.  If it’s difficult for you, just follow me.”
That night after the shoot, seeing that Ae Jung is clearly not over Dokko JIn, he lets her go to him (See: Potato/Purple Sneakers).  A heartbroken Pil Joo puts together the rest of the puzzle by himself, even trampling Ae Jung’s apology fruit basket in order to get at the last missing piece.  Once completed Pil Joo believed it was what he needed to do in order to keukbok (See: 극복 (Keukbok) – Restored/Overcome) himself from Ae Jung’s rejection.  Crying alone in his car, he realizes that he was still hurting and needed more time to heal.
