Iron Man

Iron Man (Anthony Edward “Tony” Stark) is a fictional character, a superhero in the Marvel Comics Universe.

A billionaire playboy, industrialist and ingenious engineer, Stark is injured by a booby trap during a kidnapping in which his captors attempt to force him to build a weapon of mass destruction. However, Stark’s injuries are dire and shrapnel is moving towards his heart. His fellow prisoner, Ho Yinsen, a Nobel Prize–winning physicistwhose work Stark had greatly admired during college, constructs a magneticchest plate to keep the shrapnel from reaching Stark’s heart, keeping him alive. In secret they create a powered suit of armorto save his life and escape captivity. Back home, Stark discovers that the shrapnel fragment lodged in his chest cannot be removed without killing him, and he is forced to wear the armor’s chestplate beneath his clothes to act as a regulator for his heart. He must also recharge the chestplate every day or else risk the shrapnel killing him. He later uses the suit to protect the world as Iron Man.

While Gu Ae Jung made kimbap, a Spider Man Ding Dong made an appearance only to be mocked by Dokko Jin.  To appease Ae Jung and comfort the wounded child, Dokko Jin told Ding Dong it’s all about attitude when it comes to fashion and introduced himself as Iron Man. He said as a child he always wanted to be Iron Man because of his artificial heart. And just like Iron Man, Dokko Jin needs to be charged.

Dokko Jin was offered a superhero role in a Hollywood movie. When Kim Jae Seok told Ae Jung and Jenny about it, Ae Jung thought Dokko Jin would fulfill his dream to be Iron Man. After Dokko Jin punches the evil manager, like a true superhero, Ae Jung questioned his motives because it would put his Hollywood movie offer at risk and as a superhero he needed to go to Hollywood to protect the world.  Jin said instead of protecting a world that didn’t need him, it would do him better to protect Ae Jung.

After hearing things (facts and rumors) about Dokko Jin, Yoon Pil Joo puts together the severity of Dokko Jin’s heart condition.  At first, unwilling to reveal this fact to Gu Ae Jung but to just romance her, he threatens Yoon Pil Joo to keep it a secret.  Until Gu Ae Jung is again attacked by the media in regards to the news about her romancing another celebrity while doing Couple Making with Yoon Pil Joo and past rumors about why she prompted the break up of KBSN, Dokko Jin swoops in and reveals his broken heart surgery to the media, trumping any negative news about Gu Ae Jung.  Ding Dong worried about the troubling news motivates him to ask Dokko Jin if he was really sick.  Dokko Jin showing his arm muscle to the boy says he’s strong and that he will be just fine.  Like like Iron Man, he only needs some fine tuning (meaning surgery) so he could become a stronger superhero.
